We are delighted to welcome you to our evening webinar with Dr Roy Jogiya who will be presenting on Making sense of Palpitations.

Dr Roy Jogiya is an award-winning Consultant Cardiologist and nationally recognised expert in cardiovascular disease and heart rhythm disorders. In this webinar, Making Sense of Palpitations, he will share practical insights into the causes of palpitations, when to seek medical advice, and the latest approaches to diagnosis and treatment.

Palpitations are one of the most common cardiovascular symptoms encountered in clinical practice, but identifying who needs reassurance, investigation or specialist referral can be challenging. This practical session will cover a structured approach to assessing palpitations, choosing the right investigations and recognising important arrhythmias and red flags.

Learning objectives:

By the end of the session, participants should be able to:

* Take a focused and effective history for palpitations.

* Recognise red flags requiring urgent or specialist assessment.

* Select appropriate investigations, including ECG and ambulatory monitoring.

* Distinguish common benign causes from clinically significant arrhythmias.

* Understand when referral to cardiology/electrophysiology is appropriate
