Championing the voice of the Independent Doctors Federation in Parliament.

It was a privilege to meet with Shadow Health Minister Lord Syed Kamall in the House of Lords yesterday to discuss the role of independent doctors in the UK’s healthcare system.

We’re grateful for his time and for the opportunity to highlight how vital it is that the voice of the independent health workforce is represented in Parliament. Ongoing dialogue with parliamentarians is key to ensuring a joined-up healthcare system where the NHS and private sector work effectively together, always with patients at the centre.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Lord Kamall on a range of topics, including the future of Conservative health policy, the use of private medical insurance, and the future of the independent sector workforce.
