IDF appraisal service resumed

In line with NHS England guidance, the IDF is today re-launching its appraisal service for members. Medical appraisal, at its core, provides an opportunity for a confidential discussion between a doctor and their appraiser. The opportunity to support doctors’ professional development and well-being is more important than ever at this time and, with this in mind, IDF appraisers have been trained to deliver a well-being focused and supportive appraisal which takes into account the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on doctors’ practice.
