Senior Director - Early Detection, Datar Cancer Genetics

Steve Parr is a healthcare, innovation and technology leader with more than 30 years’ international experience including working with the NHS and independent healthcare in medtech, oncology, neuroscience and diagnostics. He has held senior commercial, advisory and board-level roles in many organisations including IXICO, Re:Cognition Health, Induction Healthcare and Brainomix.

Steve sat on the Parliamentary enquiry into "The EU Impact on UK Life Sciences” and is a regular speaker at conferences. He previously sat as a Commercial Expert on the SBRI Healthcare innovation funding programme and on the Innovation Panel of Health Innovation Wessex. Steve currently serves as Senior Director at Datar Cancer Genetics UK, where he leads on early cancer detection, NHS collaborations and real-world data partnerships. Datar’s TruCheck™ multi-cancer screening test is widely adopted within the independent sector, and its TruBloodTM organ-specific early cancer detection platform has received three US FDA Breakthrough Device designations. Testing is delivered globally from internationally accredited laboratories based at the Surrey Research Park.

Steve works closely with leading UK oncologists, clinicians and academic partners to develop and advance practical, accessible early cancer detection solutions that support both private and NHS care pathways.

Steve holds a BSc and an MSc in Physics from Imperial College London and is an Associate of the Royal College of Science.

Dr. Atreyee Saha is a strategic executive and biomedical innovator, known for turning complex technologies into patient-centred solutions. With a PhD in Molecular Genetics and global medical device development experience across the UK, Singapore, and India, she brings deep scientific expertise and hands-on leadership to every stage of medical device development.

Her work spans across genomics, microfluidics, Point-of-Care diagnostics in Oncology and Infectious Diseases, spearheading system integration, clinical and regulatory strategies, clinical governance with precision. Atreyee is trusted for her ability to build high-performing teams, and drive products from concept to commercialization.

She combines technical depth with strategic vision, shaping partnerships, influencing global clinical stakeholders, and accelerating access to precision medicine. Her leadership is grounded in clarity, accountability, and a commitment to superior patient care.
