We are delighted to welcome you to our lunch webinar with Professor Stephen Peters who will be presenting on Applied Neuroscience for day to day living.
This webinar will cover the basics of neuroscience to give practical insights to apply to everyday life. It will explain the principles underpinning diverse topics such as decision-making, confidence and imposter syndrome. It will provide examples of the interactions of various areas or structures within the mind and how we can directly modify or influence these.
Learning objectives:
- The learning outcomes will include:
- To help attendees understand how they are influenced by the normal functioning of the mind in everyday life
- To be able to apply, in a practical way, some key neuroscientific principles to both themselves and their patients to gain better psychological functioning
- It is hoped that attendees will be able to view to advantage their, and their patients’, behaviours, thinking and emotions through the lens of neuroscience
